If you would like to extend your stay prior to or after the festival, consider which airport might work best for your plans as a tourist in the Sunshine State! You may choose to spend your additional holidays relaxing at the beach, visiting local attractions such as Busch Gardens in Tampa or Disney World in Orlando!

Welcome Sisters & Brothers, to the website of the 2014 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival! Held every four years, this exciting international event for breast cancer survivors is run under the auspices of the IBCPC. The 2014 event is the first to happen in the US! Hosted by two Florida BCS teams, The Pink Dragon Ladies® of Tampa and Save Our Sisters® of Miami, are eager to greet you and make your experience in the Sunshine State memorable! We will be continually updating the website to give you the latest information about the racing, workshops, and social events that make the IBCPC events so remarkable for BCS paddlers. This event will be the 4th IBCPC Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Festival taking place for the first time in the United States! Sarasota will be the 2014 destination located on the gorgeous Gulf Coast of Florida. Experience the ultimate sisterhood in a beautiful setting, and make memories you will cherish!

If you are a new or existing breast cancer survivor team, you may not be familiar with the International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission (IBCPC). This is the premier organization for Breast Cancer Survivor dragon boat teams and you are required to be a member in order to participate in the 2014 Festival.
